Piercing Consultation

Every piercing begins with a consultation to assess anatomy, placement suitability and jewellery options. This ensures the piercing not only looks right but also heals properly.

If you are unsure about placement or styling, we guide you through the options so you can make a confident and informed decision before your appointment.

How to prepare for piercings

Preparing for your piercing helps ensure a smoother experience and better healing. It is recommended to be well-rested, hydrated and to avoid alcohol before your session.

Wear comfortable clothing depending on the piercing area and allow time for consultation and aftercare guidance. If you have any concerns before your appointment, contact the studio in advance.

Piercing Aftercare

Aftercare is an essential part of every piercing. You will receive guidance on how to keep the area clean, avoid irritation and support healing.

If you experience any concerns during healing, it is always recommended to consult the studio before making changes to jewellery or care routine.

The  Process

Each piercing is carried out in a clean, controlled and professional environment with attention to detail and client comfort.

Why choose Guns and Inks for Piercings

Clients choose Guns and Inks for our focus on hygiene, placement precision and jewellery guidance. Every piercing is performed with attention to detail, ensuring both appearance and healing are prioritised.

From consultation to aftercare, the experience is designed to be professional, comfortable and well-guided.

Curated Ear Styling

Modern piercings are often part of a curated ear design rather than a single placement. We help create balanced combinations using lobe, helix, rook, daith and other piercings so the overall look feels structured and intentional. This approach ensures every piercing complements the others, creating a refined and cohesive aesthetic.

Jewellery Guidance for New and Healed Piercings

Jewellery plays a key role in both healing and long-term comfort. We guide clients on implant-grade titanium, gold jewellery and flatback styles based on placement and healing stage.

For fresh piercings, the focus is on safe material choice, correct sizing and stability. For healed piercings, jewellery can be selected for style and personal preference.

Healing and what to expect

Healing time varies depending on the type of piercing and placement. Lobe piercings generally heal faster, while cartilage piercings require more time and care.

Mild sensitivity during early healing is normal. Following proper aftercare and avoiding unnecessary irritation helps ensure a smooth healing process.
