Over time, cells from your immune system – called macrophages - gradually absorb the tattoo ink and disperse it, which can lead to some tattoo fading. On top of this, factors such as sunlight, friction and improper care of your tattoos can all accelerate the process of aging your skin and/or fading your tattoos. One can always touch up tattoos but even that cant be done more than one or twice in a lifetime.

What is the recommended Tattoo aftercare?Tattoos are prone to infection during the first 7 days. WATER, SUNLIGHT, DUST and NAILS cause INFECTION. Call 8886886600 for any doubts. Please STRICTLY follow the below given: Remove the covering as soon as you reach home and wash with diluted antiseptic solution (Lukewarm water +Dettol/Savlon 5 drops). Pat, dry with a tissue. Massage with Soframycin Skin Cream with medium pressure. First 7 days: APPLY a thin layer of COCONUT OIL before going for shower. Don’t APPLY soap or scrub on the tattoo. After shower WIPE with a TISSUE and pat dry. Keep the skin open at all times. When going out in the sun/pollution cover your tattoo with dark clothing. It's rarely done with a numbing agent (aesthetic). Any type of piercing poses a risk of complications, including: Allergic reactions. Some piercing jewellery — particularly pieces made of nickel — can cause allergic reactions. Oral complications. Jewellery worn in tongue piercings can chip and crack your teeth and damage your gums. Tongue swelling after a new piercing can interfere with chewing and swallowing — and sometimes breathing. Skin infections. This might cause redness, pain, swelling or a pus-like discharge after a piercing. Other skin problems. Piercing can lead to scars and raised areas caused by an overgrowth of scar tissue (keloids). Bloodborne diseases. If the equipment used to do the piercing is contaminated with infected blood, you can contract various bloodborne diseases, including hepatitis B, hepatitis C, tetanus and HIV. Tearing or trauma. Jewellery can get caught and torn out accidentally, potentially requiring stitches or other repair. You might need medication or other treatment if you develop an allergic reaction, infection or other skin problem near the piercing. Please understand that only a medical practitioner can help you with any kind of allergies of infections.

How do I care for my piercing after it's done?CARING FOR PIERCINGS To avoid complications like an infection or piercings that shrink or close, dermatologists recommend that everyone with new piercings follow these steps: Leave the jewellery in for eight weeks or more, even at night. Removing the starter earrings too early may cause the piercings to close. Always wash your hands before touching new piercings. This helps prevent an infection. Do not fiddle with the studs as they may cause trauma to the freshly pierced wound. Gently clean your piercings(use an earbud) with a mild, fragrance-free soap and water OR mix a few drops of Savlon in 100ml lukewarm water at least once a day. This helps to prevent an infection. Thoroughly rinse your piercings after washing them. You want to thoroughly rinse away the soap. Be sure to avoid getting water in your piercing. Please do not use turkey towels to avoid trauma to the fresh piercing. Cold compress will help in reducing the swelling. We recommend a gel pack with a cloth bag to avoid water droplets on your healing piercing. Keep an eye on your piercings. If a piercing gets sore, red, or puffy, or it oozes yellowish liquid, you may have an infection. If any of these doesn’t go away quickly, see a board-certified dermatologist. Aftercare instructions will be provided by your piercer after the procedure. It usually involves cleaning the area with a saline solution, avoiding swimming pools and hot tubs, and not touching the piercing with unwashed hands.
